The Susan M. Frank Center for the Arts & Humanities is a 55,000 square foot facility that includes an instrument studio, music library with two piano practice rooms, a choral studio, and hand bell studio. There is a three room photography suite, separate sculpture and printmaking rooms and a 259-seat performance hall. Other amenities include a black box theatre, technical theater shop, and the Zachary Bell Theater for Film Studies. The Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center was new 85,000 sf facility which includes two gyms, a sports medicine training facility, cardio room, and weight room. The facility also included a kitchen, server, and dining hall that will be used to teach students about healthy eating habits. The building surrounds an existing gym on three sides. The MEP design had to keep the current gym occupied while construction was happening on the new building and then connect all the utilities and MEP systems to the new building so it would function as a single facility.
